AODA Compliance Report 2026: Certifier Pack for Ontario employers.

Before a senior officer certifies AODA compliance, give them a file they can stand behind. 1205 prepares a senior-officer-ready evidence file and remediation plan — we do not certify compliance, and we don’t provide legal advice. You sign with confidence.

[ AODA compliance evidence file ]

To be clear: 1205 does not certify, issue, or guarantee AODA compliance, and nothing here is legal advice. Under AODA, a senior officer in your organization certifies compliance. Our job is to put a complete, organized evidence file and a remediation plan in front of that person — so the signature rests on documentation, not hope. Confirm your reporting deadline with your counsel or the Government of Ontario.

What an AODA report involves

Plain language. Signature-ready evidence.

Who has to report

AODA obligations scale with the size of your organization, and the thresholds and timing shift over time. We do not guess your number — we build the evidence file to the obligation that applies to you, and recommend you confirm your reporting deadline with counsel or the Government of Ontario.

Frame: your reporting deadline — confirm with counsel / government.

Senior-officer certification

AODA compliance is certified by a senior officer of your organization — a named person, signing their name. That is exactly why the evidence behind the signature matters. 1205 does not certify; we make sure the person who does has a file they can stand behind.

You certify. We prepare the evidence.

The evidence file

Policies, multi-year accessibility plan, training records, feedback and accommodation processes, accessible communications and website, and procurement — assembled and mapped to each standard area so the picture is complete and reviewable in one place.

One file, mapped to every standard area.

Gap remediation

Where the evidence is thin or missing, we name the gap, the fix, and the owner in a remediation plan. You can close gaps yourself, or scope the work to us under a separate mandate. Either way, certification waits until the evidence supports it.

Gaps named, sequenced, owned.

How to engage us

Published pricing. No surprises.

Start with a Readiness Check or go straight to the full pack. Pricing is published so you can plan — final scope is confirmed after intake.

AODA Readiness Check

Starts at $2,500

A focused review of where you stand and the gaps to close before anyone certifies. The fastest way to know whether your evidence is signature-ready.

Certifier Pack

Typically $5,000–$12,000

The full senior-officer-ready evidence file plus remediation plan. Assembled, mapped to each standard area, and reviewable in one place.

Complex / multi-site

Scoped after intake

Multiple sites, entities, or unusual complexity. We scope the evidence file and remediation plan to your structure after a short intake.

HR Compliance Retainer

Ongoing — let’s talk

Keep the file current year over year. Ongoing assurance across AODA and the rest of your Ontario HR compliance obligations as the standards and your organization change.

The Certifier Pack

A file a senior officer can stand behind.

The pack is two things: a complete evidence file mapped to every AODA standard area, and a remediation plan for whatever the evidence doesn’t yet support. We assemble it; your senior officer reviews it and certifies. We never certify on your behalf.

Accessibility policy set

Your AODA policies and statement of commitment, reviewed for currency and completeness against each standard area.

Multi-year accessibility plan

A documented plan with status against each commitment — what is done, what is in progress, what remains.

Training records

Evidence that the right people received accessibility training, organized so the coverage is demonstrable, not assumed.

Feedback & accommodation processes

Documented processes for receiving feedback and handling accommodation requests, with evidence they are actually in use.

Communications & website

A review of accessible formats, communications supports, and web accessibility posture, with gaps flagged for remediation.

Remediation plan

Each gap named, the fix specified, and an owner assigned — so the senior officer can see exactly what stands between today and a defensible signature.

On remediation: where gaps need fixing, 1205 can scope that work under a separate mandate. And if an AODA issue overlaps a workplace complaint that requires an investigation, the independent investigation stays separate from any remediation we later perform — subject to a conflict review — so the integrity of both is protected.

Before you talk to us

Two ways to get oriented.

Common questions

Straight answers on AODA.

Does 1205 certify our AODA compliance?

No. Under AODA, a senior officer of your organization certifies compliance — not an outside firm. What 1205 does is prepare a senior-officer-ready evidence file and a remediation plan, so the person signing has documentation they can stand behind. We do not issue, grant, or guarantee certification, and we do not provide legal advice.

Which Ontario employers have to report?

AODA reporting and certification obligations generally scale with the size of your organization, and the thresholds and timing change over time. Rather than rely on a number here, confirm your specific reporting obligation and deadline with your counsel or the Government of Ontario. We build the evidence file to match whatever obligation applies to you.

What is in the Certifier Pack?

A structured evidence file mapped to each AODA standard area — policies, multi-year accessibility plan, training records, feedback and accommodation processes, website/communications, and procurement — plus a remediation plan that names each gap, the fix, and the owner. It is assembled so a senior officer can review it and certify with confidence.

What does it cost?

An AODA Readiness Check starts at CA$2,500. A full Certifier Pack is typically CA$5,000–$12,000 depending on size and how much evidence already exists. Complex or multi-site organizations are scoped after intake. Ongoing assurance is available through an HR Compliance Retainer.

What if the readiness check finds gaps?

That is the point of doing it before you certify. We document each gap and a remediation plan. Where you want us to close the gaps, we can scope that work under a separate mandate. The senior officer certifies once the evidence supports it — we never certify on your behalf.

What if an accessibility issue overlaps a workplace complaint?

If an AODA matter overlaps a complaint that needs a workplace investigation, the independent investigation is kept separate from any remediation we later perform, subject to a conflict review. That separation protects the integrity of both the investigation and your compliance file.

The Human-Attested standard

AI in the workflow. A person on the hook.

AI assists. It never decides.

We use AI to move faster on research, drafting, and pattern-finding. It is a tool in the workflow — not the analyst, not the judgment, and not the author of what we deliver.

A senior human reviews and owns the work.

Every deliverable is reviewed and stood behind by a senior 1205 practitioner. The findings, the recommendations, and the file are human work product — attributable to a named person, not a model.

We escalate when the matter needs it.

Where a question crosses into regulated territory, we say so and route it to employment counsel or an accessibility specialist. We would rather hand off than overreach.

We are clear about our boundaries.

1205 prepares a senior-officer-ready evidence file and remediation plan — it does not certify, issue, or guarantee AODA compliance, and does not provide legal advice.
