The proof behind the work, in one place.
When a board, procurement team, or referring lawyer asks how 1205 works, hand them this. We use AI as a tool — a named senior practitioner reviews and owns every deliverable. Inside: our independence, confidentiality, privacy, and conflict-check boundaries, stated plainly.

To be clear: 1205 does not provide legal, tax, or immigration advice, and does not issue, grant, or guarantee any certification — including AODA or ISO. This pack describes how we work and the boundaries we hold. Where a matter crosses into regulated territory, we say so and route it to the right regulated professional.
The Human-Attested standard
AI in the workflow. A person on the hook.
AI assists. It never decides.
We use AI to move faster on research, drafting, and pattern-finding. It is a tool in the workflow — not the analyst, not the judgment, and not the author of what we deliver.
A senior human reviews and owns the work.
Every deliverable is reviewed and stood behind by a senior 1205 practitioner. The findings, the recommendations, and the file are human work product — attributable to a named person, not a model.
We escalate when the matter needs it.
Where a question crosses into regulated territory, we say so and route it to employment counsel, a licensed privacy or accessibility specialist, or a government body. We would rather hand off than overreach.
We are clear about our boundaries.
1205 does not provide legal, tax, immigration, or certification services, and does not issue or guarantee any certification — including AODA or ISO.
What AI does. What a person owns.
AI assists
A named human owns
Gathers and organizes source material; surfaces patterns across documents and data.
Decides what is relevant, weighs credibility, and forms the findings.
Produces first-pass drafts, summaries, and structure to work from.
Edits, corrects, and authors the final deliverable under their own name.
Flags inconsistencies and gaps for a human to examine.
Investigates the gaps, makes the judgment calls, and stands behind the result.
Where the line is, and why we hold it.
Investigation independence
During an independent workplace investigation, 1205 does not implement discipline or management decisions and does not advise you on the outcome. The investigation stands on its own. After the report is delivered, 1205 may separately scope post-investigation remediation, training, or policy work under a separate mandate, subject to a fresh conflict review. That separation protects the integrity of the investigation.
Public-form confidentiality
Our public web forms collect low-sensitivity routing information only. Please do not submit complaint narratives, party names, medical details, privileged material, or documents through a public form. Once engaged, we provide a secure channel for anything sensitive. If a matter is urgent or confidential, call the principal directly.
Privacy & data handling
We collect only what a matter needs, store it on access-controlled systems, share it only with the people working the matter, and return or dispose of it on a defined schedule. We do not sell or repurpose your data, and we do not feed your confidential material into public AI tools. Our full approach is set out in our privacy policy. This is a summary, not legal advice on your own obligations.
Conflict-check protocol
Before accepting a matter, we check the parties and the organization against current and recent engagements. If we find a conflict — or anything a reasonable person could perceive as one — we decline or route the matter to an independent partner. For investigations, a conflict that emerges mid-matter is disclosed immediately.
When a matter needs a regulated professional, we route it. See how our specialist and referral network works.

Each one-pager describes a deliverable in plain terms — what it includes, where the boundary sits, and how we hand off when a matter needs counsel or a licensed specialist.

- What is the Human-Attested Trust Pack?
- It is a short, buyer-facing summary you can hand to procurement, a board, or referring counsel. It explains exactly how 1205 works: where AI assists, what a named senior practitioner reviews and owns, when we route a matter to a regulated professional, and the boundaries we hold around independence, confidentiality, privacy, and conflicts. It is documentation about how we work — not legal, tax, or certification advice.
- Does 1205 use AI to do the work?
- AI is a tool in the workflow — it helps us move faster on research, drafting, and pattern-finding. It is never the analyst, the judgment, or the author of what we deliver. Every deliverable is reviewed and stood behind by a named senior 1205 practitioner. The findings and recommendations are human work product, attributable to a person.
- Does the Trust Pack make any legal or certification claims?
- No. 1205 does not provide legal, tax, or immigration advice, and does not issue, grant, or guarantee any certification — including AODA or ISO. Where a matter crosses into regulated territory, we say so and route it to the right regulated professional. The Trust Pack states those boundaries plainly so a buyer knows what we do and do not do.
- Can I send a confidential complaint or sensitive documents through your forms?
- Please do not. Our public forms collect low-sensitivity routing information only. Do not submit complaint narratives, party names, medical details, privileged material, or documents through a public web form. Once we are engaged, we will give you a secure channel for sensitive material.
- How does 1205 handle conflicts of interest?
- Before we take on a matter, we run a conflict check against current and recent engagements and the parties involved. If we find a conflict — or anything that could be reasonably perceived as one — we decline or route the matter elsewhere. For independent investigations, we also keep the investigation separate from any remediation we might later perform, subject to a fresh conflict review.
